Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and caring Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Christus Health. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and support to patients, families, and caregivers in our nursing unit.

Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with routine and repetitive patient care activities
  • Performing clerical, organizational, and patient-focused tasks
  • Meeting expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
  • Assisting with patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes
  • Completing relevant documents and forms
  • Preparing rooms for patient arrival and departure

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in your state. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required. You must also be able to work a varying schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is $38,000-$48,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
