Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce security-related policies and procedures to provide a safe and secure environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to assist in achieving overall division and hospital goals.
  • Participate in orientation and continuing education to maintain knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
Requirements
  • NYS certification as a Security Guard required.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years security experience highly desirable.
  • BLS/CPR certification and first aid training required.
Work Environment and Hazards

Clinical and outdoor setting. Exposure Class I.

Physical Demands

Medium work: standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.

Pay Range

$26.50 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.

Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
