About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team on a per diem basis. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our anesthesiologists and ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist anesthesiologists with patient monitoring lines and intubations
  • Maintain and stock anesthesia supplies and equipment
  • Provide first-line equipment maintenance, calibrations, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with Anesthesia, OR Manager, and Biomedical Engineering to ensure equipment and supplies are up-to-date and well-maintained
Requirements
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or fast-paced OR environment
  • Basic mathematical skills to accurately perform calculations
  • Availability to rotate shifts, take call, and work weekends
  • Ability to speak, read, and follow directions in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical computer software systems
