Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

The Shipping Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of outbound orders. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to coordinate with various departments and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate trailer loading and check in truck drivers
  • Prepare bills of lading and shipment paperwork
  • Transfer products from stock to customer orders using computer systems
  • Select and package sample shipments
  • Evaluate inventory and track receipt and transfer of outside storage items

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work 6pm to 6am shift schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in business related field
  • Experience using ERP software systems
  • Experience working with manufacturing software in distribution warehouse or transportation environment
  • Experience working in Alcohol Beverage Industry
