Dedicated Computed Tomography Professionals Wanted for Travel Assignments

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading healthcare provider and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
About the Role:
- This is a 13-week travel assignment, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position.
- You will be working as a CT Technologist, responsible for operating and maintaining CT scanners, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring accurate diagnoses.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
- Prepare patients for scans, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a CT Technologist (CRT) or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or medical imaging setting.
- Strong knowledge of CT scanning principles, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and radiologists.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods, as required by the role.
