Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join their team in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and be able to operate CT scanners with precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and ensuring patient safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and scan results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a radiologic technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
  • Current certification in computed tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • 1 year of experience in CT scanning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
