Our dynamic department is composed of over 75 dedicated faculty members across 12 specialized sections, providing a wide array of complex and innovative neurological care. As part of our commitment to advancing medical care, we provide access to cutting-edge treatments in one of the fastest-evolving fields of medicine, featuring an Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Level-4 NEAC Epilepsy Center.

Through partnerships with the O'Donnell Brain Institute, we are developing state-of-the-art facilities for drug and device testing, fostering collaboration among current and new faculty to enhance research on brain disease therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and document thorough initial and ongoing physical assessments tailored to age and diagnosis, including psychological evaluations.
  • Synthesize clinical data and apply evidence-based practices to formulate, implement, and assess patient care plans, including the ordering and interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic studies.
  • Exhibit proficiency in technical and procedural skills relevant to the specialty and training.
  • Provide essential management, referrals, counseling, and education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding ongoing care and preventive health strategies.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives through organized group processes, workshops, seminars, and staff meetings to enhance clinical and operational performance.
  • Collaborate on research projects and protocols, identifying opportunities for enhancements in departmental policies and procedures.
