Dana Safety Supply is seeking a skilled Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Dallas, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current customers, including law enforcement, fire, EMS, and public safety entities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
- Work closely with managers to ensure territory growth plans are met and sales goals are achieved.
- Be the primary point of contact for end-users and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitive analysis, and regulatory requirements.
- Review orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Complete required reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
- Learn and navigate our computer systems.
- Attend training and sales meetings.
- Assemble and disassemble trade show booths.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three years of outside sales experience, preferably in the industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to travel 75% of the time, visiting customers and attending sales-related functions.
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional and approachable appearance.
- Thorough knowledge of products and services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
Minimum work week of 40 hours, with flexibility to meet sales goals. Travel may include evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.
