Laborer/Groundman

We are seeking a skilled Laborer/Groundman to join our team at MasTec Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for providing general labor support for aerial and underground construction projects.

• Perform manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites using hand tools like shovels, rakes, and picks.
• Conduct general labor on construction sites, including placement of conduit as directed by Foreman or Supervisor.
• Support with trench digging and closing, as well as the movement of materials and vehicles as directed by Foreman or Supervisor.
• Conduct maintenance services as directed by Foreman, including cleanup, washing vehicles, and landscaping.
• Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment.

• A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• The ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Excellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced high volume work environment.
• Practical working experience in overhead construction for both RF and Fiber.
• Knowledge of Overhead Bill of Materials and City, County, and State clearance code knowledge.
• Extensive knowledge of Network architecture and design for both RF and Fiber networks.

• A competitive hourly rate of $16.00 to $20.00 per hour.
