Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Candler County Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating radiology equipment, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality imaging services.

• Operate radiology equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiology technology services, including equipment operation, patient positioning, and radiation protection techniques.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other hospital personnel to ensure seamless care and coordination.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, staying up-to-date with the latest equipment, administration changes, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care services, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current certification in radiology technology, including specified modality.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical, financial, and legal information.

This role requires exposure to ionizing radiation, high-stress environments, and extended periods of standing. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced area, with flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
