Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Candler County Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating radiology equipment, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional patient care.

• Operate radiology equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiology technology and services
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other hospital personnel
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain professional development

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Certification in Radiography and specified modality
• Current CPR certification
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This role requires exposure to ionizing radiation, high stress levels, and extended periods of standing. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenging situations.
