Compensation: $24.50/hr

Work Schedule:

1st shift; 7:00am - 4:00pm

Job Overview:

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of a turret press and various other machinery. Your role will include:

  • Operating turret presses efficiently
  • Conducting additional machinery operations as required
  • Performing fabrication tasks such as shearing, sawing, grinding, and drilling
  • Handling cut parts from a plasma table and organizing them onto pallets
  • Hoisting full sheets of material onto the table and manually removing smaller components
  • Producing machined components by programming and managing CNC machinery while upholding quality and safety standards
  • Ensuring equipment and supplies are maintained through preventive maintenance
  • Following manufacturer guidelines and diagnosing equipment malfunctions

Qualifications:

  • Experience with turret press machinery
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes
  • Proficiency in shearing, sawing, grinding, and drilling
  • Capability in programming and operating CNC machines
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Skills in analyzing strategic objectives
  • Experience in candidate selection and screening

Essential Skills:

  • Machine operation expertise
  • CNC proficiency
  • Familiarity with punch press and turret press operations
  • Fabrication and metalworking skills
  • Blueprint reading and coding knowledge

Work Environment:

This position requires full on-site presence.
