Job Title: Subsidized Payment Coordinator I

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Subsidized Payment Coordinator I to join our team at North Coast Opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payments and billing, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly Alternative Payment Program payments for participating facilities
  • Compile enrollment and attendance data for monthly reports to the state
  • Process Parent Fee billing and collection
  • Maintain enrollment information and provider files
  • Act as a liaison between accounting and contract staff
  • Provide training and assistance to facilities and staff on AP contract programs
  • Attend conferences and workshops as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
  • Experience working with families and/or children preferred
  • Bilingual/Biliterate (Spanish/English) preferred
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic bookkeeping skills and strong mathematical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in computer operations, including word processing, email, and spreadsheet programs

The Subsidized Payment Coordinator I will work in a fast-paced office environment, interacting with clients, staff, and vendors. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
