Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopaedic Technologist to join our team at OrthoCincy. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our providers with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply and remove casts, as well as fit durable medical equipment on patients.
  • Operate the cast saw safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain adequate casting supplies and inspect equipment for proper functioning.
  • Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards.
  • Provide patient education and support, adhering to provider protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered/Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Orthopaedic Technician certification required.
  • Two to three years of previous clinical experience preferred.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of management systems and OSHA guidelines.
  • Strong critical thinking and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and project a professional image.
