Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Orthopaedic Technologist to join our team at OrthoCincy. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in assisting providers with patient care by preparing and applying casts and durable medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply and remove casts and fit durable medical equipment on patients
  • Ensure the safe and efficient use of the cast saw
  • Maintain adequate casting supplies and inspect/repair equipment
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards
  • Stay up-to-date with certifications and continuing education
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Registered/Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Orthopaedic Technician certification
  • Two to three years of previous clinical experience preferred
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of management systems and OSHA guidelines
  • Strong critical thinking and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Work Environment

This role will be based in a medical office and exam/procedure room setting, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
