Job Title: Senior MEP Cost Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MEP Cost Estimator to join our team at Reagan Airport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and working on various aviation projects, with a focus on cost review and estimation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review cost estimates for compliance with design documents
  • Review estimates for scope of work and constructability issues to ensure estimated project and change costs are in line with market costs
  • Perform as the subject matter expert for a wide range of cost estimating functions, including verification of independent cost estimates, cost impact analysis, cost analysis, statistical business case analysis, and cost forecasting functions in support of the capital improvement programs for airport, commercial real estate, and campus facility programs
Requirements:
  • 15 years of experience as an MEP cost estimator
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil/structural engineering, or related field
  • Computer skills required, including MS Office, project management, and estimating software
  • Confident personality
  • Clean background
  • Ability to pass a drug test
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional designation such as RICS, CCE, CCM, AIA, PE, ASPE, AACEI, CVS, AVS, LEED AP, RA, or any appraisal or real estate licensure
  • QSE cert
  • Experience in a secured environment (government facility, airport, etc)
