Within a designated division, this role is accountable for monitoring financial outcomes, including income, labor costs, and expenditures. Manages billing processes, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Aids in the development of monthly and annual forecasts for revenue, labor, and expenses.Utilizes computer-based systems to analyze, extract, and interpret financial and operational metrics.
Creates, updates, and maintains Excel spreadsheets to gather, analyze, and track data to support management decision-making.
Prepares weekly financial forecasts using company templates, encompassing revenue, labor, and expense tracking.
Collaborates with Operational Leaders to determine and quantify monthly forecasts.
Generates month-end closing reports using company templates.
Works with Corporate Accounting to identify and categorize accounting entries.
Participates in and leads month-end Division Profit & Loss review discussions.
Evaluates results; monitors discrepancies; identifies trends; proactively suggests actions to management.
Collaborates with Senior Management to establish and quantify quarterly and annual forecasts, including revenue, labor, and expense tracking.
Responsible for Division client billing Excel spreadsheet templates, including data collection from Operational Leaders, weekly updates, error identification, reporting, correction, and final month-end reporting.
Acts as the primary contact for Accounts Payable, processing vendor invoices through AP software, addressing vendor inquiries, and tracking expenses.
Serves as the primary contact for Accounts Receivable, utilizing AR software, generating client inquiry emails, and monitoring outstanding balances.
Possesses strong analytical capabilities and a forward-thinking approach.
Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with all management levels.
Able to prioritize and manage high-volume communications in a dynamic work environment.
Eager to learn new systems and identify and implement enhancements to existing financial systems, reports, and processes.
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint to create models and presentations supporting analysis and reporting.
Three to five years of experience in financial analysis and accounting, ideally within a publicly traded service-oriented company.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Aviation industry experience is preferred.
Must successfully complete a drug screening.
Must fulfill all requirements to obtain necessary airport security credentials and US Customs and Border Patrol clearance, including passing a background check and providing a 10-year work history.
