MIG/TIG Welding Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a proficient welder with expertise in both MIG and TIG welding processes to enhance our production capabilities.

This role is a temporary assignment expected to last between 6 to 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension but without a permanent hiring option.

Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to high-quality workmanship, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment. You will be engaged in welding tasks involving both steel and aluminum materials.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, including a half-hour lunch break.

Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is $27 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute MIG and TIG welding tasks according to technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Conduct inspections of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with welding equipment, performing necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures consistently.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Welding Safety Protocols

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG Welding
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in TIG Welding
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and welding symbols
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must provide personal welding gear, including a welding hood, gloves, and steel-toed boots or shoes
