Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to provide technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct, safe, and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
  • Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
  • Function under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
  • Assist cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, anticipating and obtaining catheters, wires, and other necessary inventory and medications as ordered.
Requirements
  • Current License in good standing.
  • Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
  • Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
