Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with procedures in the catheterization laboratory.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members, including monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure, depending on the unit's needs.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One to three years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, preferably in a travel or per-diem setting.
  • Certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills and physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, and move equipment (up to 50 lbs).
