Job Summary

Cope Plastics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in a second shift role. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process, ensuring high-quality products, and driving productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and assign work for specified machinery to meet deadlines, collaborating with scheduling to optimize production.
  • Monitor job efficiencies and provide technical guidance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist estimators with the quoting process, providing information on inspection methods and suggesting improvements for repeat orders.
  • Verify final inspections and inspect parts for quality and accuracy using measuring devices.
  • Operate numerically controlled machines or manual machines, and fabricate plastic parts as needed.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating positive leadership practices, coaching, and training, setting and monitoring goals, and ensuring team compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED, plus two years of vocational/technical college or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five years of fabrication experience, with previous supervisory or team lead responsibility, and broad knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques.
  • CNC Machines (lathes and mills) experience.
