Cope Plastics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee the production process on our 2nd shift. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities, managing production schedules, and leading a team of production staff.
Key Responsibilities- Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that products meet customer specifications and company standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with production staff, management, and customers to ensure that production schedules and quality standards are met.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to analyze data and make informed decisions; knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
