Job Overview

Position: Finishing Production Specialist

Transwall Office Systems, Inc., a reputable manufacturer of architectural wall systems established in 1963, is currently seeking a dedicated Production employee. This role involves ensuring the delivery of painted aluminum components that meet customer specifications. The work schedule is as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday, 4 days a week
  • Opportunity for overtime on Fridays as required
  • Shift hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare parts through buffing, sanding, and cleaning processes
  • Conduct paint line preparation, including mixing paints and powders to meet specifications
  • Hang parts to ensure proper coating application
  • Assist with maintenance tasks on the paint line
  • Unload conveyor systems and segregate parts as necessary
  • Inspect all painted components for quality and finish, adhering to established quality procedures

Compensation

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
  • Previous experience in assembly is preferred

Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those required for successful performance in this role:

  • Ability to frequently lift 10-20 pounds
  • Prolonged periods of walking and standing
