Job Summary

Qurate Retail Group is seeking a Product Development Quality Assurance Specialist to support the process of ensuring products are developed for QxH markets and meet all Product Quality and Regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Merchandising Product development team to translate desired product attributes and features into product specifications and QA requirements.
  • Review and document product specifications, packaging, coordination and monitoring of sample flow, complete and accurate documentation of review findings and reporting of results.
  • Contribute in development of Technical and Quality Product Specifications after collecting Merchandising inputs.
  • Address factories, agents and sourcing team questions about product, packaging and other development questions based on Qurate requirements.
  • Review Product at different stages against the created product specs, review packaging and conduct packaging testing, verify product safety and conduct product long-term testing.
  • Issue final Product Approvals in QxH systems to release product for inspection.
  • Work with inspection team to ensure products are inspected and are meeting Qurate inspection requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar quality assurance or technical product development role within the retail.
  • S degree in technical field is desirable but not required.
  • or Technical Certification plus three years' experience in technical field
