About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Paradigm Rehabilitation. As a key member of our post acute/SNF care team, you will play a vital role in making a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote optimal function and independence.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on occupational therapy techniques and best practices.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and guide Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited school of occupational therapy and valid state license.
  • Certification and Competency: Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and proficiency in clinical documentation using Net Health/Optima or similar software.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain awareness of issues related to the profession of occupational therapy and adhere to all health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination or regular testing.
