Job Opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Lewiston Public Schools in Maine. As a remote Speech Therapist, you will work with VocoVision and ProCare Therapy to provide speech-language pathology services to students in a virtual school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
  • Deliver therapy sessions through online platforms, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to address students' needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and track student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure success.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active SLP license in Maine (CCC-SLP required).
  • At least 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders in a school setting.
  • Preferred experience with virtual therapy services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor.
  • Pay Rate: $45-55 per hour (depending on district budget and candidate experience).
  • Guaranteed Weekly Hours: Yes.
