Respiratory Therapist NICU Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our NICU team at Brigham & Women's Hospital (BWH). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to critically ill patients in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care plans for patients in the NICU, including mechanical ventilation and airway management.
- Perform and interpret various tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care, in collaboration with physicians.
- Oversee the work of technical respiratory care personnel and provide guidance and constructive criticism as needed.
- Attend and participate in hospital educational programs and patient care rounds to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.
- A.S./B.S. in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) within three months of hire.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 4-2 years of NICU experience or 2-3 years of critical care experience.
- NPS credential preferred.
