Senior Renewable Energy Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing large-scale renewable energy facilities, including solar, wind, and energy storage systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and layout solar, wind, and other renewable energy facilities and related site infrastructure in collaboration with senior engineering staff.
- Perform engineering and design calculations, including power system economic evaluations.
- Deliver various aspects of solar and renewable energy system design, such as the proper sizing of AC and DC cabling systems.
- Act as a project manager or deputy project manager for utility scale renewable planning and design projects, including operating as the day-to-day point of contact between the internal team and the client.
- Delegate and direct the activities of junior engineering staff where appropriate to their skill and ability.
- Prioritize tasks to ensure quality deliverables and customer satisfaction while adhering to budget.
- Support business development, proposal, and client relationship management activities working in collaboration with senior business staff.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience, with at least 3 years experience in the renewable power generation sector.
- PE license desired and eligible to obtain PE license across any state.
- Experienced with PVSyst, CADD/PLSCADD software, modelling, design and/or analysis software preferred.
- Must possess strong technical communication skills (writing and verbal) and be able to read and interpret technical literature and engineering plans.
