Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Maintenance Technician to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform skilled trades work, including carpentry, painting, and repair of structures, equipment, and grounds.
  • Work from blueprints, drawings, or rough sketches to improve our facility.
  • Resolve and respond to office and facility-related issues and emergencies.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment and facilities.
  • Prepare for use, perform operational checks, inspections, and complete repairs on electronic equipment.
  • Request and withdraw from inventory and replace defective or worn parts.
  • Communicate and document all work performed.
  • Assist all maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, safety, quality, operational procedures, and state and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Displays distinct high-performance attributes and demonstrates superior communication and collaborative skills.
  • Skilled specialist, completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways.
  • All work performed in compliance with EPA, Hazmat, and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Clearance Requirements

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within 24 months of hire.
