Senior Vice President, Cloud Security Site Reliability Engineer

Chief Information Security Office (CISO)The Chief Information Security Office (CISO) is responsible for ensuring the cyber security of all of Citi's technical assets.
We have several new and exciting programs utilizing cutting-edge cloud and container technologies to ensure our cyber security is best in class and offers reassurance to our wider business lines and clients alike.
The RoleThis role sits within the Cloud Security team, which is responsible for Private and Public Cloud Security, Container Security, and strategic Secrets products.
We are creating a consolidated SRE team that will work across our portfolio of products, and as a member of this team, you will be responsible for working towards our SRE strategy and operating model.
Engineering excellence and secure by design are key principles for our CISO organization, and you will be responsible for raising the bar on both our existing products and the frameworks and capabilities engineered within the SRE team.
Partnership and collaboration are essential, and you will work closely with the existing Engineering and Operations teams, building out the SRE capability and evangelizing SRE best practice and techniques for the wider organization.
Reducing TOIL will be paramount to your success, and you will be responsible for working across Container products and Secrets products, across Public and Private Cloud, as well as Cloud native specific products.
Key Responsibilities- Architecting and building tools and platforms that provide capabilities for SRE
- Collaboration with multiple stakeholders and partners across Engineering and Operations as well as partner teams within the wider Citi organization
- Actively owning production level incidents till resolution
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Certification or formal training in site reliability engineering concepts and practices
- Prior experience working towards SLIs, SLOs, and observability capabilities at a large scale
- 5+ years experience in Python (preferable) or Java, on large scale systems alongside Linux based scripting languages
- Experience working on observability, logging, and metrics toolsets
- Experience of k8s and container technologies such as Docker, Openshift, and EKS
- Experience with public cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with Secrets products such as HashiCorp Vault or CyberArk
- Highly effective navigating large and complex organizations
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
