About the Role

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Coordinator to join our STEM Learning Lab team. As a Research Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the lab's research projects, performing standard and complex laboratory procedures, and ensuring the accuracy of results.

Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry, data analysis, and qualitative coding, applying standard quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of results.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the lab manager to ensure tasks are being completed on time.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of research projects, including designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing reports.
  • Collaborate with lab members to ensure the smooth operation of the lab and the success of research projects.
Requirements
  • Experience working with people and research.
  • Exhibits individual initiative, self-sufficiency, and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
  • Possesses attention to accuracy and detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in statistics and/or programming.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Psychology, Education or related field).
