About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Food Preparation Specialist to join our culinary team at Ecumen Evergreens of Fargo/Moorhead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents, while ensuring a safe and clean food preparation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents, families, and guests, adhering to established recipes and production guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to plan and execute special events and activities, ensuring adequate food and labor resources.
  • Accommodate resident dietary needs and requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; commercial kitchen experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety protocols.
  • Previous experience in senior care or a related field is an asset.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent is an asset.
