About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audience Research Manager to join our team at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. As a key member of our Learning & Engagement Division, you will play a critical role in shaping our understanding of our audiences and informing our strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research and evaluation projects to inform our audience engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data collection and analysis plans
  • Manage and analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights
  • Communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling reports and presentations
  • Supervise a team of data collection staff and provide coaching and guidance as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to social science research (e.g., psychology, education, statistics, anthropology, business, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in audience research and evaluation, visitor studies, UX research, and/or marketing research
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, online survey platforms, and SPSS Statistics or other statistical packages
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including statistics
  • Strong qualitative skills, including ability to conduct structured and semi-structured interviews with visitors
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal direct supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
