Job Overview:
- Design sophisticated electrical control, monitoring, and communication systems
- Select power and instrumentation components for ground support systems
- Create detailed electrical schematics, block diagrams, and assembly drawings
- Perform electrical engineering analyses and draft project specifications
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams to ensure adherence to client specifications
- Additional responsibilities include cable harness assemblies, component selection, and system calculations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) License or eligibility for obtaining Florida PE certification within a year
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- US citizenship or permanent legal residency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with federal and military construction design standards
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
- Experience with Creo, Revit, AGI32, and SKM Power Tools
- Understanding of hazardous location wiring methodologies
