Job Overview:

  • Design sophisticated electrical control, monitoring, and communication systems
  • Select power and instrumentation components for ground support systems
  • Create detailed electrical schematics, block diagrams, and assembly drawings
  • Perform electrical engineering analyses and draft project specifications
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams to ensure adherence to client specifications
  • Additional responsibilities include cable harness assemblies, component selection, and system calculations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) License or eligibility for obtaining Florida PE certification within a year
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
  • US citizenship or permanent legal residency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with federal and military construction design standards
  • Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
  • Experience with Creo, Revit, AGI32, and SKM Power Tools
  • Understanding of hazardous location wiring methodologies
