About the Role

We are seeking a PRN Licensed Vocational Nurse to contribute to the care of our patients at UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital. Our 52-bed hospital is a leading provider of acute rehabilitation services for patients with various conditions. Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications accurately and safely
  • Provide patient care based on individual needs and clinical conditions
  • Assist with patient assessment and rehabilitation nursing interventions
  • Conduct timely and accurate quality improvement assessments
  • Interact professionally with patients and families
  • Educate patients and families on pain management strategies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse
  • CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
  • IV certification required or obtained within 6 months
  • Minimum six months' experience in a medical/surgical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

$40 USD per hour
