Role Summary:
As an integral member of the Resident Care Team, you will support the Resident Care Director in managing community health needs. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising Resident Care Associates
  • Monitoring residents' health and addressing emerging needs
  • Assisting with on-call duties as required
Key Responsibilities:
1. Uphold the mission and core values of LCB Senior Living, fostering positive interactions with residents, families, and the community.
2. Actively participate in community engagement to enhance occupancy.
3. Assess resident needs and contribute to service plan development in compliance with state regulations.
4. Demonstrate knowledge of the aging process and related health challenges.
5. Oversee daily tasks of resident care associates.
6. Address medical concerns and collaborate with the Executive Director, families, and medical professionals.
7. Promote teamwork across departments to improve service quality.
8. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
9. Engage in community marketing initiatives.
10. Provide direct care to residents as necessary.
11. Support resident care associates with inquiries and emergency situations.
12. Maintain staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
13. Review incident reports and implement safety improvements.
14. Assist with necessary documentation for compliance.
15. Administer medications as per physician's orders.
16. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Candidates should possess good physical and mental health, with the ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects. A positive attitude and professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in a geriatric or healthcare setting.
  • Licenses: Current RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
