**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Funding and Grants Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading funding and grant opportunities, developing solutions and processes to support team functions, and maintaining clear and consistent communication with clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and execute funding and grant strategies to support business development activities
  • Lead special projects with minimal supervision, including feasibility studies and funding analysis requests
  • Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication
  • Coordinate post-award activities with the Compliance team
  • Assist with onboarding activities and other duties as assigned

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with GIS certification or two years of GIS work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
  • Project management skills and knowledge of telecommunications
  • Proficiency in object-relational databases management systems (PostgreSQL) and geospatial databases (PostGIS)
  • Data analysis skills and solid understanding of SQL
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and public speaking skills

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Proficiency with Adobe and experience with PowerBI
  • Experience with state and/or federal grants
