Inventory Auditor

Job Summary

The Inventory Auditor is a key member of our Distribution Center team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient handling and counting of merchandise. This role involves collecting and analyzing data to ensure accuracy and making corrections as needed. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate lift power equipment, including scissor lifts, swing reach trucks, and order pickers, to facilitate inventory counting and storage.
• Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at the beginning of each shift, reporting any damage or malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
• Physically check a percentage of all palletized incoming merchandise to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Accurately count merchandise following predetermined procedures and methods, using RF devices and warehouse management systems to record data.
• Review case label information and verify contents by item, picks per case, and other relevant details.
• Enter data into WMOS, databases, and spreadsheets accurately, making necessary adjustments and corrections as needed.
• Review printouts of inventory data and prepare required forms according to standard operating procedures.
• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures, reporting any hazards or concerns to the supervisor or safety director.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous inventory experience preferred, with a minimum of 6 months of equipment operations experience highly desirable.
• Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English to comprehend safety instructions, participate in safety drills, and effectively communicate in case of emergencies.

Benefits

• Base rate paid bi-weekly: $17.51 per hour.
• Earn $0.26 wage increase following the completion of 90 days, 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months of service, totaling up to $1.04/hr. on top of the base rate.
• Shift Differential: Weekend Shift - $40.00 payout for meeting full 36.00 scheduled hours.
• Attendance Bonus: Earn a $40.00 Attendance Bonus per week, equating to an additional $1.00 per hour.
• Referral Bonus: Refer a friend and receive $900 (Paid out in four increments - Eligibility and policy rules apply).
