Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee operations, sales, and customer satisfaction for specified regions, ensuring maximum profitability through effective crew schedule management.
- Provide support and supervision for estimators, contractor administrators, project administrators, project managers, and construction managers, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Communicate daily with senior project managers and contract administrators, facilitating seamless coordination and issue resolution.
- Purchase requests from corporate require timely approval and follow-up to ensure efficient procurement processes.
- Work closely with corporate to establish policies and procedures, driving consistency and quality across all departments.
- Reports to the COO of Astroturf, Senior Director of Operations, and EVP of Business Development and Marketing, maintaining open communication channels for strategic decision-making.
- Participate in pre-bid, pre-construction, and sales presentations as needed, showcasing expertise and promoting company offerings.
- Manage and oversee the yearly regional budget, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Support sales teams in developing short- and long-term sales plans, providing guidance and resources for success.
- Conduct regional training and team-building sessions, enhancing skills and collaboration among team members.
- Assist salesmen in developing short- and long-term sales plans, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Hire sales coverage with corporate approval, expanding the sales force to meet business needs.
- Improve co-op purchasing message and opportunities, driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships.
- Establish and manage regional expense budgets, ensuring prudent financial management and accountability.
- Bridge customer satisfaction issues between clients, operations, manufacturing, and construction, delivering exceptional results through prompt issue resolution.
- Lead weekly conference calls for regions, facilitating open communication and progress updates.
- Communicate region success stories to marketing, highlighting achievements and promoting company excellence through press releases, photos, testimonials, and white papers.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate local trade shows, showcasing products and services to target audiences.
- Communicate all problems to the corporate Executive team, ensuring swift issue resolution and minimizing disruptions.
