Key Responsibilities:
The individual in this position will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing examination rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to infection control standards.
  • Conducting CT scans as per physician directives and providing clear explanations of procedures to patients.
  • Monitoring patient conditions and reporting any abnormalities during examinations.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of patient status and imaging procedures.
  • Ensuring proper supply management and performing administrative tasks related to imaging.
  • Practicing safe radiation exposure techniques to protect patients and staff.
  • Engaging in patient safety training and reporting any healthcare errors or concerns.
  • Producing high-quality diagnostic images and evaluating them for technical accuracy.
  • Administering contrast materials as required for imaging studies.
  • Utilizing PACS systems to ensure timely access to imaging results for healthcare providers.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Certification in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Computed Tomography certification within a specified timeframe.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in computed tomography.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
This role requires physical stamina, including frequent walking, lifting, and positioning of patients. The work environment may involve exposure to various health-related hazards, necessitating adherence to safety protocols.
