Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to children with complex neurological injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders in children.
- Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety, as well as referral and education resources.
- Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
- Current CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
- Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
- Effective communication and professional interaction skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job.
