Job Summary:

This position is a field-based role and will travel daily to job sites, primarily in Pennsylvania, to assist in underground utility construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist crew members in trenching, digging, pulling, and removing material.
  • Operate power equipment for demolition, concrete removal, grading, truck/dumpster loading, site clean-up, and other general tasks using company and/or rental equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain the condition of company equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks and haul/hoist materials.
  • Participate in daily job briefings and safety meetings.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, reach, dig, and carry heavy objects, with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to wear all required personal safety equipment.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is mandatory.
  • Must be available for overtime, weekdays, and/or weekends.
  • Labor experience in utilities is preferred but not required.
