Job Title: Speech Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at ECHN. In this role, you will provide evaluations and therapeutic treatments to patients in need of speech and language rehabilitation.

  • Evaluate patients' communication skills and create personalized treatment plans to improve or restore function.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independent functional activity.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations to identify communication needs.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication needs.
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • A current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other departmental software.
