About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wildland Fire Management Coordinator to join our team in the Bureau of Land Management. This role will play a key part in coordinating wildland fire management activities and ensuring the safety of our personnel and assets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including federal, state, and local agencies, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. They will also be involved in developing and implementing wildland fire management plans and protocols.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong communication and coordination skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating complex projects and working with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement wildland fire management plans and protocols.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize risks associated with wildland fires.
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as environmental science, natural resource management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in coordinating complex projects and working with multiple stakeholders.
