Bureau of Land Management - Logistics Management Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Management Specialist to join our team in Lewistown, MT. As a Logistics Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing complex dispatch operations, providing leadership in resource management activities, and ensuring priorities are established and resources are properly allocated.

About the Job:

This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions. You will be responsible for monitoring fire season severity predictions, fire behavior reports, and fire activity levels, as well as directing all phases of the dispatch coordination program.

Requirements:

  • Must have 1 year of creditable specialized experience equivalent to GS-09.
  • Must be familiar with IQCS and NWCG minimum qualifications.
  • Must have strong leadership and communication skills.
