Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises and other physical therapy interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques to enhance recovery outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement discharge plans and recommendations for continued care.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, treatment outcomes, and responses to interventions to inform treatment plan adjustments.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care and holistic treatment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Licensure/Certification: North Carolina license by the NCPT Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and BLS (CPR) certification from the American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
