Job Summary

Cone Health Employee Health & Wellness is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients referred for Physical Therapy services, assisting in their return to optimal functional abilities, and preventing additional disability.

Responsibilities

  • Completes patient evaluations, treatments, reassessments, and documentation/charging
  • Independently and accurately selects and performs appropriate evaluation and reassessment techniques
  • Independently sets appropriate goals
  • Plans and implements therapy in a manner to achieve patient goals
  • Autonomously and appropriately modifies session in response to changes in patient status, environment, and discharge plan
  • Independently recognizes need for and initiates discharge from therapy services and independently recommends and initiates referral to appropriate venue for additional therapy services
  • Provides effective and thorough patient/family/caregiver education throughout the patient's therapy program
  • Supports safe, appropriate, effective, and efficient patient care by providing accurate, thorough, and timely documentation that consistently meets departmental requirements
  • Charges appropriately for treatment provided
  • Charges are completed in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • New graduates will be considered; experience in applicable venue preferred
  • North Carolina license by the NCPT Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or a Compact State
  • BLS (CPR) - American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
