RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - FT - Days - Healthcare Professional

Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing principles and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
- Administers medications or treatments as ordered
- Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of residents
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Counsels residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
