Job Overview

The Wireless Hardware division is dedicated to the development of cutting-edge wireless technology for eTeam's product offerings. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team on a contractual basis to evaluate and characterize cellular radio hardware designs across our diverse product range.

Essential Qualifications

  • A degree in electronics or a minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience in RF testing and measurement.
  • Proficiency in RF testing methodologies and equipment operating within the 600MHz to 6GHz frequency spectrum.
  • Familiarity with tools such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, cellular call boxes, load pull tuners, oscilloscopes, and DC power supplies.
  • Experience in conducting extensive characterization projects on RF components or systems utilizing fully automated testing setups.
  • Knowledge of scripting and debugging is advantageous (Python, Matlab, etc.).
  • Experience with data analysis platforms is beneficial (Tableau, Excel, Matlab, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of schematic reading and PCB layout review is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain calibration and operational efficiency of test setups. Collaborate with lab management for equipment upkeep.
  • Utilize test automation tools to gather parametric data on cellular hardware designs. Compile measurement data from testing stations and present it to design engineers for analysis. Assist in data processing and visualization efforts.
  • Work closely with rework technicians to update hardware with new component revisions for thorough characterization.
  • Partner with test automation engineers to troubleshoot testing script and station issues, ensuring that rack equipment and testing software are current.
