Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Job Description

At York Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care and high-quality exams. You will support the team by bringing out the best in others and adding value. Preferred skills include fluency in Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, Computed Tomography, and Portable Radiography. You will be flexible to work at various locations as needed and adapt to schedule changes with short notice. You will be responsible for shifts that may include traveling between different locations. You will perform patient registrations, clerical support, and other duties to assist walk-in teams at off-site locations. You will ensure proper completion of timecards.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist.
  • ARRT Registered Maine RT.
  • BLS Certification.
  • CT experience is a must.

Additional Information:

  • Weekly schedules will be posted 7 days in advance, but the location of shifts may change unexpectedly.
  • Holiday coverage is not required.
